The Apex MWD High-Temp (HT) system offers a true 185°C rated tool and the Extreme-Temp (XT) is the only independent MWD tool that is fully rated to 200°C at the individual component level. We're able to help you reduce the costs associated with running legacy MWD tools beyond their specifications for temperature and NPT costs associated with trips due to heat-related failures.

Both tools provide a shorter length (14.6 ft compared to competitors’ 23 to 30 ft) to minimize shock and vibration, while improving reliability. The single, ruggedized module incorporates the power supply, directional sensors, control, gamma, and pulser all in one.

Environmental sensors offer operators measurements of drilling dynamics such as shock/vibration, temperature, RPM, continuous inclination, and continuous azimuth, all in real time.
