The ApexMWD Team and HT Tool Maximize Performance in Extended Lateral for a Haynesville Basin Operator

An operator was drilling a 5-in. extended lateral in the Haynesville Basin and needed accurate MWD measurements while maximizing performance through extreme temperatures.

The customer worked with the Apex MWD team and determined that the Apex HT tool would be included in the BHA. They successfully drilled 12,813 ft in 328 hours (in-hole) and completed the section through maximum temperatures of 335°.
